 Today we began actually working on our essay. I effectively created and introduction paragraph over social media effects and implications. At first it was difficult because I didn’t understand but after reading the example on the green paper, it was simple. 

 Today we began working on a research paper. The prompt my group and I are working over is social media effect and implications. I feel like and my group can work together and have a successful essay.

 In class we worked further into the ap test writing practice . The techniques we use help us save time and write effective because we won’t have much tim during the exam.

 I was absent.

In class today we went over tools we would need on the AP exam. The tool were very helpful and less time consuming. Lastly, tonight we have to read chapter 5 of the book at home. 

 We had a substitute today. We worked on completing the assignment we started Friday. 

 Today we ready deeper into the book Wild. Also we did question on illuminate about the book. 

 Today you were absent so we were in Ms.Calloway’ class for 4th period. We completed word and definitions from the book. However I didn’t have enough time to finish the exercises assigned. 

 Today we completed the second chapter of the book Wild. We also completed a worksheet on the story. We had to find theme, cause and effect of Cheryl’s actions, and meaningful words. 

 We read the book Wild and we completed a illuminate over the subject. 

Today we read further into the book “Wild”. It’s becoming more interesting, we got to the point where her mother died. We also made a critical thinking question for each page we read. 

 A part of my past i would like to let go and rewrite is the beginning of my high school career. Though, those years weren't that bad i know they could've gone better. I would've focus on my grades more and even worked toward going to college rather than working to graduate high school. Now that I'm in 11th grade i see how much it would've paid off in the long run. I would rewrite it by by working toward college from now own. 

 Today we read further into the book “Wild”. It pretty good so far. However it’s hard to listen to reading for so long because it makes me tired. 

 Pros: no judgement, clears your mind, helps with productivity, learn yourself Cons: can lead to depression, boring, lose social skills, FOMO Being alone can be empowering because it can become a state of being rather than a feeling. The feeling of being alone can mess with your mental health and cause you to lose a sense of people. However, The state of being alone can help you clear your mind and learn yourself with no judgement. It is empowering because it allows you to gather yourself.

 We began reading the memoir “Wild”. The prologue gave us insight on what the story would be about. I intrigued and ready to see what the book entails. 

 When my mom went to prison I feel like my life changed completely. In that moment I wanted the world to stop for me so I could break down but the world doesn’t stop for anybody so I had to pull myself together and continue as if nothing changed. 

 Today we were introduced to the book “Wild” because we will be reading it soon. A main point in this book is hiking. We went over types of hike. Also we went over precaution and essentials you need while hiking.

 Hyperbole 1. I'm so hungry i could eat a horse . 2. I'm so tired i could sleep 24 hours straight. Litotes 1. The fast-food workers did not move fast, which explains why the line was always wrapped. 2. The boy was not hungry after finishing his meal.  Antithesis 1. Keep your mouth shut and your eyes open. 2. Keep your friend close and your enemies closer.  

 To improve as a student I can improve by doing my best to complete every assignment I am given. In 2022 I was a big procrastinator however this year I planned to not hold of on assignments. To help me be more successful in class you can allow us to make up blog posts.
