9/13

 In class today we added a continuation onto the end of “Rockpile” which allowed me to think creatively. We also answer questions about the story using the process of elimination. I feel like process of elimination is very helpful and allows me to answer questions more effectively. Lastly the one pager assignment is a very unique and fun assignment idea. I can wait to let my creativity flow through this assignment.

 A part of my past i would like to let go and rewrite is the beginning of my high school career. Though, those years weren't that bad i know they could've gone better. I would've focus on my grades more and even worked toward going to college rather than working to graduate high school. Now that I'm in 11th grade i see how much it would've paid off in the long run.  When my mom went to prison I feel like my life changed completely. In that moment I wanted the world to stop for me so I could break down but the world doesn’t stop for anybody so I had to pull myself together and continue as if nothing changed.

 Today we did paperwork in class because the power was out. Although it wasn’t anything hard I think I prefer electronic work. We read a prompt and looking at two sources. We also listed the implications for the claims we made.
